It's that time again...

Or it's getting closer...
Spring time

Trying to get a family pic with everyone looking..This is what we got.
Our favorite thing to do on Sunday Afternoons...after naps that is!
Feeding the ducks Cheerios!! We didn't have any old bread.
They both were confused because we usually are out on the dock but it's flooded. Our hearts go out to those in Fargo dealing with the major floods right now.
They were so excited to run and play. Even though it was a little chilly. We can't wait for Spring to finally be here to stay. Soon we are hoping.

The Como Zoo...Conservatory

A few weekends ago, we went down to the Como Zoo Conservatory with Barb, Steve and Nash. It was amazing! The Zoo has the largest glass-domed garden in the region and it was breath taking. Not only was it so great to be inside some place that was warm but also it was so green and colorful~ We are dying for spring here and this was a great place to go and relax for a few hours. The kids got to see fish, frogs, trees, water, flowers and much much more. And one other great thing about it is it's FREE! We had a really nice afternoon and look forward to going back again. They change out the flowers so we need to check out the new ones.

March Madness

Let the Basketball madness begin! I am not a huge follower of any type of sports but they are always on at my house and my kids have grown found of them thanks to their dad and grandpa! So we always seem to be watching one or the other. Last year for John's work I made a big basketball cookie for the March Madness games and they all loved it. So I had bigger plans this year but they didn't turn out as I thought they would. I was going to make these yummy cupcakes and than I bought other candies to make them look like basketballs etc. But I tried one and it looked funny. So I pulled out some sprinkles and some gel and decorated them kindof cheesy. Oh-well they all seemed to like them and I will have to perfect my idea for next year

The things they say....

So I have decided that I need to journal more all the random things my kids say and do. I think it's a fun thing to look back and laugh at. So that is one thing I am going to try harder to do.
Parker is filled with them lately:
As I am getting shoes on and things ready to go out the door, Parker comes walking in and say's
"Mom, I need Money."
I say "money huh."
"Yeah money."
I ask him for what?
He then goes on and says,
"I'm going."
Of course I am laughing because it's so random but he was pretty insistant on getting some money because he kept asking.
He dosen't even know what it's for but he sure needs it I guess.

A fun filled day!!

Some of the girls decorating and eating their yummy treats!

SHOPPING: I love to shop but have really tried to stay away. I have done great until today!! The Children's Place had their $1.99-2.99 racks. It was a great selcetion. I bought so much and could go back again. I even had a 15% off coupon that made it an even better deal. I got a ton of stuff for the boys. I can't wait to have them in the same thing or similar. It was a fun way to end a great day.

Tuesday's have become a busy day for us. But we love it. We have a playgroup that we meet with at 10:00 and play there for an hour or two. We all really enjoy it. Since it's still a little to chilly to play outside we have been going to the church. The kids get to run, scream and play with others. It's great! Since yesterday was St. Patty's day Barb brought cute color sheets of shamrocks and rainbows etc. Then she also brought gram crackers and GREEN frosting. It was a big hit. Bella had like 4 of them. The kids play, have an activity and then snacks and songs! Parker wasn't in the picture mood so I really couldn't capture how much he really enjoys it.

But then it's off to school. Bella has her pre-school Tuesday's and Thursday's so we run her there. Then Parker and I have a few hours alone. I love spending that time with him. He is at such a fun stage and he comes up with the most random things.
After that I was able to hit up the outlet malls. Let's just say great sales!! Could go back again!!

Funny Moments

Parker is pretty funny in our home and brings us lots of joy and laughter. Well the other day him and Bella destroyed their room. So after their naps it was time for them to clean up. Well Bella of course goes in and starts right away but Parker is a little funny about it and of course has something to say:
It goes like this:
Mom: Parker you need to go and clean up your room.
Parker: (looking right at me) "I'm tired"
Mom: No you're not you just woke up, go clean up your room.
Parker: No, I'm tired.
Mom: (again) No your not! You need to go and clean it up, Daddy's coming home.
Parker: (at this point laying down) Nope, I'm tired...(big grin on his face)

Oh how they catch on way to quickly. He finally got up but it took awhile!! We got a good laugh out of it though.

We're off to look at houses again!!

So we were super super excited about this home in Ramsey that we thought we were buying. Well...after a few inspections, further investigation on stucco and homes like this one we have decided to MOVE ON!! We were really bummed at first but have now come to the conclusion that it's for a good reason and there is something better out there for us. The house had to big of a moisture problem on the outside and one on the inside. We just don't know what we will be getting into even if they let us fix it or if they fix it. So we are on the house hunt again. WE hope it goes quickly but ya never know.

It's a...

BOY!!!!
We are super excited to find out it's a boy!!
My due date is still July 11th so that should put me at the end of June with a c-section! So over half way there. That's just as exciting. The baby weighs just over 16 oz and has all his limbs, parts and everything that needs to be there. He's a thumb sucker. He wouldn't get it out of his mouth. It was cute!
I am also super happy that I have only gained 4 pounds at this point. I know more will come but I am thrilled with that!

Happy Valentines Day~

Bella passing out presents before we left. They each got some treats and a new monkey. They love monkeys for some reason and are so excited to get them.

They are so spoiled because then when we got to grandma and grandpa's they got gifts too!

That's where my gift came into play.
John's co-workers helped him make chocolate covered strawberries they were so yummy. Thanks a ton love, they were so sweet.

After some shopping, eating, gifts and playing they were out for the count. Which was much needed for the rest of our funfilled day!

Then we were off to HOCKEY as Parker would say.

Myrna and Roger took us all to the Wild game.

Here's the choo-choo's. Parker couldn't wait for them to come out. We got a good laugh out of that.

Seeing Snoopy in his Wild Gear

Just enjoying the game. They did great and really had a fun time.

We had an exciting Valentines Day this year. Since John had to work for a few hours in the morning we decided to make a day of it. So we all got up with him and started off with a few presents for the kids and John. It was pretty funny I was handing out gifts and Bella was going over who's was who's. SO she said, "this ones for Daddy, this one's for Parker, this one is mine and then she said...well where's your's mom??" I replied with well I don't know you better ask your dad. (oh how they catch on so young.) Well much to John's surprise we celebrated a little to early for him. We dropped John off at work and went over to his parents house. The kids love going there. We ate some breakfest and hung out. Before lunch they got some more gifts. They are spoiled all around. That's where my yummy surpirse came in. I loved my chocolate covered strawberries. They were a big surprise and were so tasty. Then we hung out and to finish off the fun night we went to the Wild game. The kids were so entertained and enjoyed it all.
