We had a great hospital stay as usual! We love Unity Hospital. Great staff, rooms, doctors, and food. Best of all though... All of the wonderful company we received. It's so nice to have a lot of our friends and family come and visit us. We have so much fun introducing our new addition to everyone and it helps make the stay go faster and easier. Thanks to everyone that came, visited, called, brought things etc, WE all really appreciated it.

Alex Forest Has Arrived

A little graphic...sorry

The morning of.... 5:30 am
So Alex finally has arrived. After 2 amnios, lungs not being ready, some back pain and other aches and pains. He arrives at 38 weeks and 2 days. He weighed 6lbs. 11oz. and was 19 in long. He was healthy and we were all happy! The c-section went great and we were thrilled that he was finally here! I gained 8-10lbs with him. I was weighed a month before he came and I was at 7lbs so I guess the final to be between 8-10lbs. This has been the littlest weight gain out of all three. So lets see if we can keep it off and more. That's the goal.

Summer fun in the Yard

We haven't had very warm weather so far this summer in MN. It's a little weird but nice most of the time. I'd rather have it a little cooler that super hot and muggy. The only down fall is that the kids don't get to swim as much because it's chilly out. So any chance the sun is shining we taking advantage of it. So we had a bunch of our friends over one day and we filled up the pools and pulled out the sprinkler. The kids loved it. And it's easier at times than pulling out all the beach stuff and packing up the van. The kids were out for hours this day and had a blast. We have such great friends and enjoy being around them and their kids.

Happy 4th of July! We were pretty low key this year since Alex was just born. We hung out all day and then we went over to the Kastels to see baby Nia and to show them all Alex. Once we got there and realized they all had matching shirts on we had to take pics. They all looked so cute. Then we headed over to a parking ramp in Ramsey and saw a small fireworks display. It was perfect, no walking and it was short. We all had a great time.

Every Year we Attend the Blaine Balzing Fourth Of July Parade! It's right in front of Sara's mom and dad's house! It's great, we have prime seating, we don't have to walk very far and we eat yummy food after too! Thanks Cherry and Jerry. The kids seem to score every year too. They get candy, t-shirts, water bottles, stickers, icees etc. They love it. We of coures always have great company as well. We look forward to next year.
