As you all know us we love being outside and being out at the lake especially. But as summer comes to a close rapidly we try and get out as many last times as we can. So last week we got together with a few friends, swam, had a picinic and just enjoyed being outside, without layers and layers on. We may be able to catch a few more days here or there but we make each time a great one.

So the other day Kayleigh and I were sitting in the kitchen talking while Bella was finishing up her lunch. Well, I kept glancing at her here and there and saw her waving, laughing, and even trying to count with something or someone. I didn't pay to much attention to it, well she got louder and louder so I was like what is my crazy child doing. Well funny thing was that my shadow was reflecting off onto the fridge. So she of course thought someone was waving at her and talking to her etc. So I decided to play along with it for awhile. Let's just say that I was in tears by the time we were done. It was so funny and super cute!

Fall is coming!

I love this time of year! And fall is rapidly coming! Yeah. I love the cooler nights, bon fires, hanging out outside without dripping of sweat etc. I wait all summer long to have it arrive and it's almost here. The other night was one of the first cooler nights so we took full advantage of it. Matt and Michelle came over we went down town Anoka and walked around the car show, and than came back and had a bon fire and roasted marsh mellows! They were sure yummy. I can't wait for more of these.

A lot cleaned and organized...

My Breeze Way has new curtains, rugs, decor', and an awesome shelf that now holds our shoes, gloves, hats etc. I love it...

My office area is re-vamped and clean, Bella got her own Art area and they both have a new Toy Room that is organized with Bins and a spot for everything...Yeah...

We brought our old furniture set down stairs and set it all up. So now the kids can be playing and we can be hanging out also. It's great!

A New Bed Spread, Re-Arranging, Decorations....

Bella now has a big girl bed. She has been sleeping on her mattress on the floor since she was one, but we felt it was time to get her a frame and bedding. She loves it. Then I added some different colors in here, a rug, curtains etc. It still has some work to be done but good for now...

I love, love, love our Living Room.

WE painted, put in our new furniture that we won. Well most of it with the decorations and added a new flat screen and some other touches. It is so warm feeling now and homey...

So I would say that you can get a lot...

I have a super clean house because I went on a throwing binge and got rid of a ton. I love the feeling and am becoming more and more of a believer that less is more. It feels great. We accomplished almost all we wanted and we got it done in a week. We are thrilled with the turn out of it and are really now feeling like we live in a home. Sometimes you just need those finishing touches to make it complete. So I am greatful that I didn't have all those distractions for a weeks time because I accomplished a ton. We have just a few other projects and we will be done! Yeah...

Our Favorite Sunday Activity

Ok, so I know that I blog a ton about the river and feeding the ducks but we really enjoy it and we have made it one of our favorite Sunday Afternoon activities. It's truly so peacful and calm down there and we enjoy spending the time with our family and friends. My kids get to run and feed the ducks, see fish, look at the Dam, play at the park and just enjoy themselves.

Summer Fun

My cousin Jesse and her Husband live on a lake about 10 mins from our house. So we finally took advantage of it last weekend. The ducks were crazy. They would come right up to you. Every time Parker threw dirt, a ball, shovel etc. They came a quacking. They thought he had food. It was pretty funny. But we enjoyed the peacful lake once again with some swimming and playing in the dirt. And it was so nice to be only a few mins away from home.

Science Museum

They had where you can pull this back and move the dinosaurs mouth back and forth. She thought that was pretty neat.

For Bella's Birthday we spent the day with her grandpa at the Science Museum of MN. I love going there and seeing the Omni-Theater and the Exhibits etc. Bella wasn't the happiest camper so we didn't make it as long as we would have liked. But yeah it was her birthday so she "can cry if she wants too, right?"

Look there is that cheesy smile again! Bella is so lucky to have awesome Aunt's and Uncles...she gets spoiled. Look at her Sweet Dairy Queen Set from Kayleigh and her Princess Bike from Sara and Kevin, Nicky sent a package with tons of Dora stuff and a new wardrobe...etc. She is so spolied and she LOVES it. Thanks Guys.

My little girl is growing up so fast! She turned 3 last week...I know can you believe it? She starts school in a few weeks and she is just growing up way to fast. But it's really fun and exciting at the same time.
