Halloween Party @ play group

So Shantel and I decided this year to teach preschool at home. At first I was wondering could I commit and would the kids have fun, learn and like it? But it has turned out to be a great thing. I took Parker for a few weeks to another Pre-school just to make sure that I was doing the right thing or that maybe I would have him in 2 different classes. But he fought me each week to go, he didn't care for it and always said he wanted to do the one down stairs. So I said fine it's a forsure thing we are committed all year! It's been so fun though. I can see the progress already and we have such a fun group. On Thursday we had a little Halloween party. Shantel made these cute ghost cookies and the read a story that went along with that. Than they colored, played games, got prizes, treats and painted these adorable pumpkins. They were so proud of them. We missed our other neighbor though he was out sick. But I am so thankful that this has been working out and for Shantel's and Leah's hard work with helping. teaching and more. I can't wait for the next few months because there is so many fun projects to do and learn!

Night Time Parade

Staying warm waiting for the parade to start
Lots of friends as usual...Hobbs, Kennedys, Marrotts, Van Gorps, Giesekes, Pierces
These girls are so cute~!

We ate before hand and decorated cookies
Yum yum
This year before the Night Time Parade in Anoka we got everyone together and ate some yummy food, the kids decorated and ate cookies, they colored and ran around playing. Than we headed into Anoka. We were so fortunate this year...our Neighbors Mike and Kelly own a Tire store right off of Main Street so we had a warm place to sit, eat, play and use the restrooms which is great with the little ones. Than we were able to sit out infront of the store and watch the parade. It was great. Thanks Guys!!

Pumpkin Patch take 2...

In the corn maze they had to find 4 different scare crows
The had a petting zoo
Sam isn't in Bella's class but she's a neighbor they were super excited about their pumpkins
Here is a few of Bella's friends in her class...Lance is in the red ( I think he has a crush on Bella..he requested the photo of the two of them:))
They went on a tractor ride too!

Today I got to attend Bella's field trip to Berry Hill Farms. They went on a Tractor ride through the Scarecrow forrest where they had to find the scarecrows that were hidden and the hidden faces in the trees. Than they got to explore the petting zoo and see the animals. Next they ran throught the corn maze and finished with getting class photos and their pumpkins to take home. It was a fast but fun field trip out!

Fall Soccer

Bella was so lucky to have her dad coach soccer again this fall!! Well she has fun with him coaching! She may listen to another coach better but at least it's something that they can do together. Parker is dying to get out there and have his dad coach him. Next year he'll be able to play..and we'll see if John wants to coach again! They had a fun season and at least the weather stayed some what nice this year. For the last games of the year they had Super Soccer Saturday. I got blue paint for their hair! They loved it. The had their games and than got their metals and treats. It's so much fun to be out their as a family enjoying the sport!

Happy Jacks Apple Orchard

As soon as September hits we start to think back to school, fall, cold and of course Apple orchards and pumpkin patches. We all love this time of year, the crisp fresh air, fires and roasting marshmellows, pumkins, parades and much more. I just love fall and all that it brings. Driving out to Delano you get to see so many beautiful changing trees and hills. You get to enjoy yummy apple spiced donuts and fresh apple cider. Rides, apples, pumpkins and more. I love being able to make these traditions with our family and friends.
