I was so lucky to be able to spend a week up at girls camp...yes it rained cats and dogs the first day but we survived and Yes there may have been tons of bugs and sleeping in tents etc. But it was an AMAZING week. I loved getting to know these girls and to hear their sweet testimonies of the Gospel. They all have such sweet Spirits and truly made me learn and grow this week. I loved watching them step out of their comfort zones and meet new people, try new things and truly enjoy one anothers company. Their laughter and late night girl talks were fun, the camp fires, crafts, games and more. It was so fun to plan devotionals and to find the treasures within. I can't wait for next year.

Vehicles...can't live with them and you can't live without them

So our van saga continues..many of you may or may not know of our fun van saga so here goes.

Back in 07' before Parker was born we had decided that we needed a vehicle big enough to carry 2 kids, a double stroller, grocery and whatever else at the time. We had decided to take the plunge and get a mini van. I tried all other options but it kept leading us to the van. Ugh..so we did it we bought an 07' Town and Country. Much to my surprise I loved it. I could fit plenty of people and stuff in and it was easy and comfortable. But little did we know was that the next few years this brand new shiny van would give us so many problems.

We had our van in the shop almost every few months. It was so frustrating over the years taking out our whole life at times (it felt like) moving the car seats and strollers and much much more. We were supposed to get rentals every time but that never happened and they would say, 'it will be done today' and 3 days later we would finally get it back and so forth. So finally about a year ago I got in touch with some people from Chrysler Corp. and they came to the rescue. They got involved right away and were on top of every time there was a problem. We had rentals finally and they even came out to our house a time or two so we didn't have to keep transporting everyone. But they still couldn't seem to fix it so they offered us a new van! We were hesitant at first because of cost and thinking it would be a huge deal, but little did we know if was easier than we would have imagined. We went through a few little hoops..mostly because of a dumb sales man but we got our new van and the WHOLE FAMILY LOVED IT!! 3 video screens, windows that all come down etc. We thought the saga was over......

Well, 2 weeks ago John drove the van out to Utah to pick the kids and I up and to spend some time with his family. Now remember it's a brand new van, nice and shiny and only 1500 miles on it. Well he drove it to his sisters and all of a sudden it started to make this buzzing noise. Almost like we were driving a moped. I laughed and was like what did you do to my new van, I have only driven it for a week or so. He had no idea. So I drove it for 2 more days still trying to tell myself that it truly was just the mountains and the van was adjusting etc. Well Saturday morning I just had a feeling I better go have the dealership listen to it just to make sure we would make it back to MN..Ha ha.. He came out within minutes and said we needed a new tyranny.. what it's new? Are you kidding me?? Yep, we needed a whole new one and it extended our trip in Utah for another week. Luckily it was under warranty and they paid for John's ticket home so we weren't out that. But some have asked how we have gotten cursed with our vehicles?? We don't know but we are hoping it was a small glitch and that from here on out we will have no more car issues...Please

Now that the sun is shining...it's a great day to paint our toes...

The last week it has been raining and more rain and Cold....so our toesies have been covered by socks and shoes, but not Today. The shine has finally come out to play!! So what better way to welcome the warmth than with some good ol' fashion toe painting. The girls love it, but I think Parker enjoys it even more. We are leaving tomorrow for a long trip over the next few weeks. But our first stop is in Florida so our toes have to be pretty for the beach. Bella, Karsyn and Kaydree knew right away what color they wanted and design but not Parker. He had to try a few colors out and some designs until he decided on Green nails with yellow dots!! LOL. It makes me chuckle that he likes it so much!! But he's still so little and it would crush him not to join in so he waits for his turn and than is beaming! John dosen't like it so much but is a great sport about it too. Bella and Parker love playing with the girls so they were so excited that we all sat out in the grass and enjoyed the warmth of the sun and even better had our nails painted! Thanks for the help girls!

Bella has a huge wardrobe of Dress Up clothes. They have so much fun dressing up... I love to hear them laughing, pretending and just having fun being kids. They love to come up and show off their attire. They parade around they living room. So it's even more exciting to play dress up with friends. It's so funny to hear them all laughing and giggeling coming up the stairs, one because they can't wait to have us ooh and aww over them but two: it's usually because Parkers in a dress, shoes, jewlery and more. They know he shouldn't really be in a dress but of course he's just enjoying it so they all have a great laugh. Sooner than later he will catch on that they are laughing at him. But for now he'll just go along with it. One day he will be so mad at me for taking all the pictures! Oh, how his girlfriends and kids will love to look at them.

Alex's First Hair Cut

Our little guy isn't so little any more...sigh...he's almost 11 months old which means that next month he will be "1" Awww....the time flies by too quickly and it makes me have mixed emotions. I love the baby stage and that cuddling, and the excitment in everything new and tons of adventures. But I love all the new stages too! He says mama, dada, hi..he loves to wave and is always smiling and is just so much fun. But along with getting bigger comes many firsts like the 3 teeth he has, the first steps he has taken and his first hair cut. I debated back and forth but his hair was over his ears and in his face so we took him in and went for it. He looked so cute sitting there and he did awesome! After it was all said and done I wish more would have been cut off. It's been a few weeks and he needs it again. So we will be heading back in soon!

Easter Pictures of The kids!

Today the kiddos had on the Easter Attire since next Sunday is General Conference! They looked so cute matching I had to try and snap a few pictures! They could have cooperated a little better but I was happy with the ones I got! John and I will have to get matching and take a few pictures with everyone. We were going to but after church one was sleeping, one was a mess etc! But I thought they were cute and can't believe how fast they are growing up!

I made a smoothie for breakfast and went in the other room and totally forgot about it and there it was all over him, the table and rug!!

I was putting dishes away and turned around to him in the dishwasher!

Alex is 9 months now and is on the GO!! He has two cute toothers and and tons of straight brown hair. (unlike Bella and Parker he has no curls) He loves to smile, laugh and play! He hasn't had an ear infection since his surgery in Feb. YEAH..knock on wood it stays that way and he wants to get into everything! We have a ton of fun with him and he can't wait to walk. He walks around all the furniture and he has stood on his own here and there for a few seconds. So it won't be long!

We gave the girls bunny teeth and they were trying to keep them in.

Today we had some friends over for Brunch and an Easter Egg Hunt! The sun was shinning (even though it was a little chilly) and the sky was blue and it was a great day to be outside and to be with friends! We started out with a yummy brunch. There went my diet for the whole weekend. Everyone brought something to share, there was egg bakes, fruit, muffins and much more. And you can't forget the candy that was in the eggs. The kids had a blast running around finding eggs and helping others find them too!
They are all so sweet and were sharing with one another. It's so fun to watch them with one another and to see what great friendships they have and will have throughout life!

To end if off we surprised Sara and Kristen with cake and presents for their birthdays. They both share the 31st as their birthdays so we decided to do a little surprise for them! It was a great way to end a fun day, we had dessert and they opened presents.

I feel pretty spoiled, for my birthday back in Januray I got to do a few different things with friends, we went out for appetizers, Red Robin with our hubbys and more. Well one of my gifts from Kristen and Sara was a gift card to Aveda to get a pedis!! So we were finally able to get in in March. So we all ventured downtown for a little relaxing and a fun girls day out! We got our toes done and than went out for a yummy lunch. It was much needed and we all had a great time! Thanks girls it was an awesome present!
