Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

So John and I decided to throw an "UgLy ChRiStmAs sWeAteR PaRtY" this year, and we hope to continue this on for years to come. We had a blast and there were some UGLY sweaters. So get yours in order for next year.
We ate, chatted and of course had to have a contest to see who's was the ugliest. Kayleigh and Jordan one, they got a bag full of prizes. We also played the dice game and there was some fighting going on over a few gifts and lots of laughter and fun too! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to throw another one.

Allergies....

So we found out that Alex is Allergic to Peanuts and Tree nuts. I haven't found out a ton yet, so I am going in tomorrow to see his doctor. But it's going to be a new adventure for us since we all love peanuts, peanut butter etc.
Especially John and Parker. We will get used to it but it's hard because it's a daily thing for us all. We are hoping that he out grows it.

Where has the time gone???

Where has the time gone. Our little guy will be 6 months in a week and a half. Ugh. But he's at such a fun stage too! He is our little smiler. He is smiling, grining or laughing all the time. Even if he's tired or sick. He just loves to SMILE. He can brighten your day any time. He loves to scoot around in a circle on his tummy trying to get his toys. He sits a little with some support so before long he will be mobile...aww. But I love each new step and stage. He also loves to eat cereal. He eats it so nice and clean. He barley spits any of it out. We will introduce those veggies here soon so I am hoping it stays that way.
I will post and update a ton more, I have been having problems with my camera discs.

Disney on Ice Princess Special

All of the Princess's came out at the end with the Prince Charmings!
Their costumes were amazing

Tinker Bell is Bella's Favorite

Gus Gus from Cinderella is one of John and I'd favortie because when Parker was little he always made grunts and nosies like him! And he's short and stocky too!

Once again trying to get a good picture...Someone is always making it difficult

Our kids are spolied by their grandma and grandpa!! They started taking the kids to Disney things last year. This was their 3rd one and it was AWESOME. John and I enjoyed it just as much as the kids did if not more! It was around 2 hours long and we could have watched and watched it for hours. The costumes, music, ice skaters etc were outstanding. The kids talked about it for days! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.

Ward Christmas Party

More Singing
Singing Christmas Carols
Showing her cards she made!
Making Cards and Wreaths for the nursing home
Snow/Winter Theme
Trying to get one good one is hard

Today we had our annual Ward Christmas Party! It's John's 3rd one as Activities Chairman...so that means my activity:). We had breakfast which was so yummy. We got some yummy food donated from a few guys in our ward from their works and it was awesome!! Thanks Nate and Scott! The men we in charge of cooking and serving also. They did a great job. We ate breakfast and than sang a few carols and than worked on organizing things for our service project for the community. We collected items for the local YMCA and shelters. We also made cards and wreaths for the youth to take to the nursing home. It was a great time and a great way to remember and reflect on how blessed we are and how so many don't even have the basic essentials. It was a great turn out and a wonderful way to start our day!

Poor Alex

Alex had his first visit to the ER on Friday night. (we are hoping it's the last). John and I went to see New Moon with some friends and when we got out I called to check in on the kids and my mom said that Alex had broken out in Hives and they were getting worse. Well my first reaction was ok lets go and grab some benadryl and head over there. But on the way there I was talking to the nurse, whom by the way wasn't much help at all, any ways he said we better take him in since he was so small and all. So we ventured over there at midnight. Luckily they got us in rather quickly and we had a great doctor who came in and was happy to see they had gone down on there own. So basically it's something that he is coming in contact with. Which means that it's on us. Since he is always held etc. So for the last 3 days the poor guy has been on meds and inbetween those he keeps swelling up with hives. So I am hoping tomorrow we can get pointed in some direction to start seeing what he's allergic too!

My little Dancing Machine!

Bella Love's to DANCE! We put her in a dance class a little over a year ago and she made it to 2 classes and we QUIT! She was swiming across the floor, looking out the window, and following her own tune. But at home this little girl will shake her lil' booty. She sings and dances all the time. It's so funny to watch her. She knows all the words to so many songs. Parker too! We have a lot of fun at our house dancing away!

Here's one more of Bella Dancing away!

Fall Family Photos

Alex 3 months old
Bella 4 years old
Parker 2 1/2 Years Old
All you need is Love

Today was finally a nice sunny day out...Yeah, it had been raining for a few days. So we decided to take our chances and have Kayleigh take some family photos of us. We had a fun time. even though it's like pulling teeth sometimes to get these kids to smile. But I am pleased with the results. We will probably try again if it's not too cold out over the next week. But am glad to finally get some family ones with Alex.

Run...Kick...Score...Goal...

Pass....It's suppossed to be something like that.....RIGHT...

We'd take any of it. but most of the time Bella was the one that was following the white lines. Yup, she'd be running around the circle, picking the grass, rolling around etc. There were a few times she would follow the skool of kids, we would laugh from the side line and say there those girls go again following all the other fish. They have no clue but yeah at least they are smiling. It was fun for us all though. John was their coach and Grandma and Grandpa are never far away. They are their biggest cheerleaders and supporters. And poor Parker all he wanted was to get out there and kick the ball. At least he got to join in on practice. It was also a ton of fun to because the Villarreals had their girls in soccer so we we see them every Sat. morning too. We are hoping this next spring she enjoys it more. If not its a fun family outing.
