We gave the girls bunny teeth and they were trying to keep them in.

Today we had some friends over for Brunch and an Easter Egg Hunt! The sun was shinning (even though it was a little chilly) and the sky was blue and it was a great day to be outside and to be with friends! We started out with a yummy brunch. There went my diet for the whole weekend. Everyone brought something to share, there was egg bakes, fruit, muffins and much more. And you can't forget the candy that was in the eggs. The kids had a blast running around finding eggs and helping others find them too!
They are all so sweet and were sharing with one another. It's so fun to watch them with one another and to see what great friendships they have and will have throughout life!

To end if off we surprised Sara and Kristen with cake and presents for their birthdays. They both share the 31st as their birthdays so we decided to do a little surprise for them! It was a great way to end a fun day, we had dessert and they opened presents.

I feel pretty spoiled, for my birthday back in Januray I got to do a few different things with friends, we went out for appetizers, Red Robin with our hubbys and more. Well one of my gifts from Kristen and Sara was a gift card to Aveda to get a pedis!! So we were finally able to get in in March. So we all ventured downtown for a little relaxing and a fun girls day out! We got our toes done and than went out for a yummy lunch. It was much needed and we all had a great time! Thanks girls it was an awesome present!

It was super nice out...well for MN that is and the kids were so excited to get outside and not have to be all bundled up. They got the chalk out, shovels and pails and much more. I think they were out there for 2 hours. We can't wait for it to be warm enough all the time to be outside!

Family Home Evening with Friends

On Monday nights we try and have FHE (family home evening) we have gotten better with this over the years but could still improve. But on this night we had Violet and Daphne over and the day before their mom had given us these window caryons so it was perfect, Bella got to have fun coloring with her friends who knew exactly what to do with them! Thanks Lindsay.

Anyways while I was making dinner they had a blast coloring. Than we ate and had a lesson and played a game. While the lesson was going on we had these yummy brownie treats baking in the over. YUM YUM I love the smell of warm brownies cooking! Once they were cooled the kids decorated them! It was a great evening and were so happy to have them over to join in the fun with us!

Happy Valentines Day!

Valentines this year was very low key, wait what am I talking about V-day is always low key at our house, along with many other holidays. I feel now that we have kiddos the holidays are more about them and seeing their litttle faces light up with their special little gifts! We love it though. John and I have gotten to the point where we do something simple and special for one another. We don't spend much money and it's from the heart! He always is more crafty with the cards and spends a lot of time on them! It's cute and so sweet! We really just hung out went to church and had a nice relaxing time with the kids. The funniest part of the whole day was when the kids got up they (moslty Bella) looked at their cards and saw mom and dad on them, but they wanted to know who let the other things?? We kept telling them it was us but they said no who left them?? Made us laugh, os John finally said Cupid! They didn't know who that was!

Having fun with friends!

We are so fortunate to have such GrEaT FrIEnDs. Bella and Parker love and cherish all the fun times that they all have together. They are always asking when they get to play again and how long their friends are staying and what do they get to do etc. They just love them all! On Tuesday we had Violet and Daphne over and they had a great time painting v-day blocks. Bella and Vy painted each one so carefully and enjoyed the whole project. Daphne and Parker painted a little and than they were off. Their projects turned out so cute. Bella plays with hers everyday! I too cherish these moments because I love seeing them interact with others, share with others, learn and grow with one another and my favorite is their SmiLeS and LauGHter.

Alex can't stop laughing...

This weekend we got to have fun with Kristen and Benjy's dog Charlee. Bella loves dogs, or any animals in that case. Parker....hmm, well not so much but he gets used to them. Or he can tolerate them (he had fun with him though). But Alex.... we found out he LOVES them. Oh, my he had so much fun with Charlee running around and barking at him. HE laughed and belly rolled for over an hour. I was crying laughing so hard. Thanks for sharing your dog with us. We'll take him anytime!

What a wonderful Birthday

Last week was my Birthday and what a WoNdErfUl DaY it was!! I don't even know where to begin. It started off with a great friend texting me the night before at 10:30 asking if I was still up and than we continued to catch a little back-and-forth about us giving up pop the next day! Thanks Kristen. Kristen and I decided to give up pop completely and if either one of us were to slip and have one we would owe the other one a $1.00. We've both been good so far and I am feeling Great and hope to continue on.

That next morning the calls, texts, e-mails, facebook etc. were amazing. I truly felt so loved and blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in my life. I am surrounded by so many people that truly impact my life for the good and they are so helpful and

caring and I can never say thank you enough.

I got up, got things rolling Bella and Parker made me cards, and than I got to take a break and Lindsay was so sweet and took Parker and Alex for me for a few hours so that I could have some me time!!! Bella was at school. Thanks Lindsay it was so nice. I spent some time with my little sister in the hospital. She had another back surgery so my mom, Jordan and I ate lunch with her in the quiet!! Plus, kids under 5 aren't aloud due to the h1n1 so I wouldn't have been able to go if it wasn't for this great break.

Than I came home enjoyed some time with the kids and than John brought me beautiful purple flowers (purples my favorite color), candles, treats and more. He left me some sweet notes and had planned out a fun night!

Than to top off my AMAZING day, I was joined by 6 of my Awesome friends at Applebees! Half price appetizers, great company and lots of laughter. Thanks girls it was a wonderful way oto finish off a great birthday. The big one is coming next year '30'... it's just another year, right?
